PENSIVE: Bearcubs - Underwaterfall

At first listen, one might swear the pulsating Underwaterfall is the newest taste from electronic producer James Blake. The similarities from fellow Londoner's, Bearcubs, are undoubtedly uncanny - at times too much. However, this Blake protégé carves out a promising identity through his EP of the same name. Additional notable tracks include the emotional, False Mirrors and the club-ready SL001.

AMBITIOUS: Jim-E Stack - Deadstream

The perfect dose of smooth energy for your late night drive to the party. Brooklyn's Jim-E Stack fills this record with slapping guitar riffs & pounding drum loops so smooth, you'll want to replay it over and over - until you learn there's a Rostam remix Ft. Charli XCX that's equally as infectious.

ESSENTIAL: Caribou - Our Love

Dan Snaith's electronic outfit, Caribou, always seems to be applicable for anything from a pre-game to the dim background music on the way home from a long day at work. His first single, "Our Love" off of his upcoming album with the same name fits that bill.
